That is a pic is of me working on a painting I did about 4 or 5 years ago. It was an important painting for me because of the Putti (little angels) I painted around the young Mary’s head. This is when I started realizing the special beauty and oneness of form that can be developed through many individual bodies. What I mean is, one human form can be lovely and accomplish much, however, several working together can be absolutely magnificent and accomplish so much more.
That painting opened a door for me in rendering a multi-figure piece that I am just now starting to realize in the large multi-figure painting I am currently working on.
